Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Nina’s Sugar Studio, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are in place to ensure clarity, consistency, and the highest quality service. Please read carefully before submitting your order.

1. Product Limitations

Nina’s Sugar Studio offers a curated menu of designs and flavors. We do not provide the following:

  • Fondant-covered cakes

  • Flavors not listed on our official menu

  • Star-shaped, butterfly-shaped, or number-shaped cakes

  • Metallic or three-tier cakes

  • Full sheet cakes

  • Character or figure cakes resembling licensed characters from movies, shows, or cartoons (themed cakes are available)

 

2. Picture Cakes

If you are ordering a picture cake:

  • Please submit high-quality images you’d like printed or included.

  • Avoid screenshots with time stamps, search bars, battery icons, or other unwanted backgrounds.

  • All photos must be submitted at least 72 hours before your pickup date.

 

3. Shipping Policy

Due to the fragile nature of our products, we do not offer shipping for cakes, cupcakes, or other baked goods. Pickup is currently the only fulfillment method available.

 

4. Freshness & Storage Guidelines

To maintain freshness:

  • Refrigerated cakes are best enjoyed within 5 days of pickup.

  • Cakes can be frozen for up to 2 weeks. Allow at least 2 hours of thawing at room temperature before serving.

  • Storage and handling instructions will be provided at the time of pickup.

 

5. Refund & Credit Policy

  • All sales are final. We do not offer refunds once an order is placed.

  • If your event is canceled prior to the creation of your order, your payment may be applied as a credit toward a future order within 30 days of the original event date.

  • No refunds or credits will be issued for last-minute cancellations or missed pickups.

 

6. Liability for Damage

Once your order has been picked up, Nina’s Sugar Studio is not responsible for any damage incurred during transportation, setup, or storage.

  • If damage occurs before pickup or due to an error on our end, we will take all reasonable steps to address and resolve the issue.

  • Clients are encouraged to review the cake care instructions provided at pickup.

 

7. Custom Order Policy

All baked goods are handcrafted and designed individually.

  • While inspiration photos are welcome, we do not replicate other artists' work exactly.

  • Final designs are subject to artistic interpretation and may vary slightly from sketches or references.

  • Colors, textures, and layout may be adapted based on ingredient availability or design enhancements.

 

8. Pickup Time Policy

Timely pickups are essential to maintain quality and freshness.

  • Please choose your pickup time carefully. If changes are needed, contact us at least 24 hours in advance.

  • If you’re running late, please communicate promptly.

  • Orders picked up more than 15 minutes late may require accommodation depending on our availability.

  • If you are more than 2 hours late without communication, your order will be canceled without refund or rescheduling.

  • You may send a trusted individual to pick up your order. Liability rules apply to any third-party pickups as well.

 

9. Communication & Contact

  • Nina’s Sugar Studio communicates primarily via email, text, or DM.

  • Messages are checked frequently, and most replies are sent within 24–48 hours.

  • Inquiries submitted Friday–Sunday may receive responses the following week due to baking and event schedules.

 

10. Use of Photos

We reserve the right to photograph your order and use the images for marketing, website, or social media purposes. No personal information will be shared.

By completing an order with Nina’s Sugar Studio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms.
